Moon Shadow

Moon shadow
following me
from tree to tree
cross meadows
and mountains
and ramblings free,
the moon’s crystallin energy
shines the light side
of my overcoat.
As the earth turns
Mother Moon
reminds us
of the joy inside
where the fire burns
love and warmth
returning the favor
and as my shadow disappears
I hope to be waxing liberty.
